## Summary

The University of St Andrews, located in St Andrews, UK, has completed a procurement process for the supply of spectrometers and amplifiers in their School of Chemistry, specifically focusing on Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Spectroscopy. This process, initiated under the open procurement method, involved multiple lots, each focusing on components like Q-band pulse EPR spectrometers and resonators, and various amplifiers. The industry category for this procurement is classified under spectrometers and amplifiers with key dates including a recent contract signing on 7th April 2025. Key suppliers include Bruker UK and Spinflex Instruments Ltd., underscoring the completion stage of procurement.

This procurement presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in high-technology scientific equipment, particularly within the spectrometers and amplifiers industry category. Companies experienced in providing specialised equipment with specific technical requirements, such as EPR spectroscopy, would find this tender a valuable growth opportunity. The University of St Andrews offers an open and accessible procurement environment where SMEs, like Bruker UK and Spinflex Instruments Ltd., have been successful. Therefore, businesses capable of delivering high-quality and cost-effective solutions are encouraged to engage with similar opportunities facilitated by academic institutions under an open procedure.
