## Summary

The procurement process managed by NHS Supply Chain Coordination Ltd aims to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of medical consumables, including insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring devices, and products contributing to hybrid closed-loop pathways. The process is conducted via an open procedure and is in the award stage as of December 2025, with contracts signed in November 2025. The framework agreement, valued between £960 million and £1,067 million excluding VAT over four years, covers various locations across the UK. This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for providers of medical consumables and technology solutions, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises specialising in healthcare technology innovations. With initial spending estimated at £240 million to £267 million GBP in the first year, rising in subsequent years, suppliers can leverage this substantial market demand. The focus on quality criteria, such as patient experience and customer support, along with social value, provides a strategic avenue for suppliers to enhance their offerings and compete effectively. Companies that align with sustainability, possess relevant certifications, and demonstrate strong commitment to social value stand well-positioned to benefit from this evolving demand, paving the way for considerable business expansion within the healthcare industry.
