Contract Term: 01 April 20124 - 31 March 2026 ### Procurement Information The provision of this service is linked to the wider GPIT provision across Bradford District and Craven. The wider contract is provided by The Health Informatics Service (THIS). Specifically the provision of the Data Protection Officer with Bradford Care Alliance has been in place since the commencement of the contract with THIS which in turn has been extended to 31/03/2026 with an option of a further year extension to 31/03/2027. It is intended to re-tender for the DPO contract at the same time that the wider service is tendered. There have been no concerns around performance and the ICB is confident that will be the case for the remainder of the proposed contract term. The contract has had NHS uplifts applied with no growth during the term. This tender waiver is sought to ensure continuity of service until 31st March 2026 to enable procurement options to be considered as a whole when the main GP IT contract expires. Justification under which formal quotation / tendering process is to be waived: (i) there is a clear benefit to be gained from maintaining continuity with an earlier project.
