## Summary

The Department for Infrastructure has completed the procurement process for the DfI TRAM T-1137 Engineering Services Consultancy Partner Contract. This contract, which falls under the industry category of Engineering Design Services (CPV code 71320000), is focused on providing civil engineering consultancy services to support Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) programmes in Northern Ireland. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covers the Eastern and Western divisions, while Lot 2 covers the Northern and Southern divisions. Both lots were awarded on 11 October 2024, with WSP UK Limited winning Lot 1 and AMEY OW Ltd. winning Lot 2. The total contract values are £48,000,000 and £35,000,000 respectively, under a restricted procurement procedure.

This tender provides substantial opportunities for businesses involved in civil engineering design services, including minor highway improvements, transportation, highway structures, and various other infrastructure projects. Companies specialising in professional and technical consultancy services are particularly well-suited to benefit from this contract. Given the scale and geographic division of the contract areas, larger firms with the capability to manage extensive projects across multiple regions will find this tender especially beneficial. The collaborative nature of the partnership with the Department for Infrastructure will also allow businesses to engage in the long-term development of Northern Ireland's road transport infrastructure.
