## Summary

The Investment Works Framework, managed by Prosper, is designed as a multi-supplier, multi-lot framework to facilitate various construction and installation works across England and Wales, specifically targeting the regions of North East, Cumbria, and North Yorkshire. This procurement, completed in May 2025, encompasses a diverse range of categories within the building installation industry, including plumbing, electrical, and roofing, among others, and employs an open procedure to select contractors. Key contracts such as Plumbing & Heating, and Kitchens, among several others, have been finalised, appointing up to eight contractors per lot. This framework covers a contract period of 24 months with options for two 12-month extensions, aiming to serve public sector bodies such as registered social landlords, local authorities, and NHS bodies.

This tender offers a substantial opportunity for growth for a myriad of businesses specialising in the construction sector, from SMEs to large corporations. With an overall framework value of £250 million, the scope spans multiple lots that present distinct avenues for companies to provide services tailored to specific needs like plumbing, electrical rewiring, and complete property renovations. The framework’s broad geographical and sectoral reach means that service providers capable of operating across the targeted regions in England and Wales will find numerous opportunities to secure contracts and establish long-term partnerships with public sector entities, thereby expanding their project portfolios and fostering business development.
