## Summary

The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, on behalf of the East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative (EMPC), has an ongoing procurement process for a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Ready to Administer Products in the pharmaceutical industry category. The procurement involves an open procedure and is aimed at goods. Tender submissions are due by 17th January 2025, with the contract award period starting the same day. The framework will commence on 1st July 2025 and continue until 30th June 2027, with an option to extend for a further 24 months. The procurement process is currently at the tender stage, with key criteria including quality and price, valued respectively at 60% and 40%.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in pharmaceutical products, particularly those offering high-quality, cost-effective Ready to Administer products. SMEs and larger suppliers alike can benefit from participating in this framework, given the scale and scope of the EMPC's member Trusts across the East Midlands. The framework's potential inclusion of mental health trusts and Integrated Care Boards at a later stage further broadens the business growth prospects. Suppliers adept at electronic submissions and those capable of meeting the specified quality and cost criteria will be well-suited for this tender.
