## Summary

The NHS Devon Integrated Care Board (ICB) is in the planning stage for the recommissioning of the Primary Care Health Inequalities Fellowship Programme. This initiative falls under the health and social work services category. It aims to support primary care professionals within the Devon ICB area (region UKK4, Exeter) by equipping them to champion health equity and lead community-focused improvements. The procurement process will proceed under the Light Touch Regime, with important dates including the deadline for registering interest by 12:00 on 28th November 2024, and a future notice date set for 1st December 2024. Expected contract funding spans two years, 2024/25 and 2025/26, with an estimated total value of £290-310k.

The tender presents growth opportunities, particularly for businesses with expertise in health services, workforce development, and community engagement. Specifically, it seeks a Prime Provider capable of delivering a programme focused on addressing health inequalities through comprehensive training and leadership development for primary care practitioners. This would be ideal for organisations with a background in healthcare education and community-oriented health improvement, as the programme aims to foster a knowledgeable workforce to drive systemic change in primary care settings across Devon. The NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) manages this process on behalf of the NHS Devon ICB.
