## Summary

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (N&WICB) is planning to procure a Continuing Healthcare (CHC) / All Age Continuing Care (AACC) digital management service to support CHC/AACC functioning in the Norfolk and Waveney region. This initiative, classified under the IT software package industry (CPV: 48517000), aims to replace two existing services with a unified digital solution that includes management of Personalised Health Budgets, invoicing, and reporting functionalities. The procurement is currently in the planning stage, with soft market testing responses due by 17:00hrs on 29th November 2024. The anticipated release date for the tender is January 2025, with the current CHC digital software contract set to expire at the end of October 2025. The expected contract period will be two years, with the option to extend for an additional year.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare IT solutions, particularly those with experience in managing complex digital healthcare systems. Providers with expertise in integrating financial and demographic data, managing healthcare documentation, and ensuring compliance with evolving NHSE requirements will be well-suited to compete. The N&WICB seeks to engage market participants for feedback to ensure the forthcoming procurement is robust and meets the intended requirements. Companies capable of providing scalable digital solutions that can be upgraded to reflect new healthcare directives, and those able to ensure data remains within the UK, will find this tender a viable growth opportunity.
