## Summary

The recent public procurement process, initiated by The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Essex, focused on acquiring electronic interventions for Out of Court Disposals (OOCD). This collaboration spans regions including Cambridgeshire and the UK, and targets the service industry, specifically provision of services to the community. The procurement, which was conducted under the open procedure, has reached the contract award stage, with Red Snapper Managed Services Limited being awarded the contract. This process, completed on 31st March 2025, reflects the authorities' commitment to implementing innovative solutions aimed at offender rehabilitation across various police forces.

The awarded tender offers valuable business opportunities, primarily for companies specialising in technological solutions and electronic service delivery. Such businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, stand to benefit significantly by providing tailored interventions accessible via smart devices. With public order and safety services being a key focus, businesses with experience in this sector could leverage their expertise to cater to the diverse needs of offenders and contribute to the broader societal goal of reducing recidivism. Additionally, the successful contract period spans from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2027, with potential extensions available, presenting long-term growth prospects for the engaged supplier.
