## Summary

The Ark Housing Association (AHA) based in Edinburgh, is undertaking a public procurement process for the "Repairs & Maintenance and Voids Framework 2025 - 2027." This active tender, under the service category of repair and maintenance services, is structured into three geographical lots: North Area, Central Area, and South Area. The framework aims to cover reactive repairs, maintenance, voids, cyclical maintenance services, medical adaptations, and ad-hoc capital works for AHA and Ark Services Limited (ASL) properties. The framework is scheduled to start in 2025 and will initially run for 24 months with the option to extend for another two single 12-month periods, making it a total of four years. The estimated value of the contract is £2,500,000. Suppliers need to submit their electronic responses to this tender by 31st March 2025.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities for trade contractors specializing in repair and maintenance services. With 11 multi-lotted trade lots per geographical area, various contractors have the chance to secure work within the framework. Particularly well-suited are businesses proficient in reactive repairs, medical adaptations, and cyclical maintenance, as well as those capable of handling ad-hoc capital works. Engaging with this framework can provide a steady stream of projects and establish long-term relationships with AHA and ASL, aiding in the sustainable growth of participating businesses. Contractors are encouraged to attend an Open Day session in December 2024 for detailed discussions about the procurement and tender process.
