## Summary

Bristol City Council has announced a planned tender titled "GR/Stray Dog Kennelling Services," set under the industry category of dog kennel services (CPV 98380000). This procurement process is currently at the planning stage, with a key date of future notice on 11th November 2024. The procurement involves services within the UK region. The council contacts for this tender are based at City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR, and can be reached via Gabriel McEvoy at gabriel.mcevoy@bristol.gov.uk.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in animal care and kennel services. Suitable firms will need to provide kennelling for stray dogs found within the City Council boundaries for a minimum of seven consecutive days and subsequently bear responsibility for any unclaimed dogs. Companies experienced in microchipping and rehoming animals will find this contract particularly advantageous, with an optional renewal clause for 3 x 12 months, allowing for elongated partnership potential and business growth. This opportunity could benefit businesses looking to expand their client base within the public sector and those with robust animal welfare practices.
