## Summary

The UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) is in the planning stage of a procurement process for the "UKRI-4453 BAU Professional Services Framework" in the architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services category. This initiative primarily targets projects at the Science and Technology Facilities Council's (STFC) sites in Oxfordshire, including the Harwell Campus, The Cosener's House, and the Chilbolton Observatory. UKRI is organising two Supplier Engagement Sessions on 5th and 9th December 2024 at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory to inform and engage potential suppliers. The deadline to confirm attendance for these sessions is 14:00 on 3rd December 2024. The framework aims to support various building and civil engineering projects.

This tender represents a significant business growth opportunity for firms specialising in project management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering services, technical design, environmental consulting, and more. Companies with expertise in architectural and design services, civil and structural design, mechanical and electrical engineering, and sustainability consulting are particularly well-suited to compete. Participating in the Supplier Engagement Sessions will help potential providers understand the framework's requirements and refine the Lot structure for future tender documentation. This engagement signifies a preliminary step towards establishing a robust professional services framework that could lead to substantial contracts and long-term collaborations.
