## Summary

Transport for London (TfL) is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Online Brand Protection Services - Early Market Engagement" under the IT services category. The process involves engaging interested suppliers in relation to protecting TfL's brands across the internet. Businesses must express their interest by 5pm on January 2, 2025, via an email that includes essential contact information. The supplier 1-2-1 sessions will take place between January 8 and January 14, 2025. These sessions will provide an overview of TfL's requirements, offer suppliers an opportunity to present their services, and address pre-planned questions. The focus areas for this service encompass UK and global marketplaces, websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, primarily for companies specialising in IT services, particularly those skilled in online brand protection, software development, and internet support. Businesses capable of detecting and addressing brand infringements will find this engagement beneficial as it involves monitoring a range of digital spaces and safeguarding multiple TfL trademarks. Companies that can offer comprehensive solutions, including regular progress reviews with TfL's IPR manager and brand licensing agents, will be well-suited to compete. This early market engagement is crucial for businesses looking to establish or expand their services within the public sector, specifically with a high-profile entity like Transport for London.
