Green Action Trust wishes to appoint a suitable contractor to deliver a range of environmental works which will comprise the following - Site Clearance and Setup Surface Water Management features including the mill lade, floodplain pond, surface water ponds, swales, drainage, check dams, culverts and the expanded swamp area Grassland Planting including marshy grassland, herb-rich meadow, tall grassland, amenity grassland, grass path creation and spring bulb planting Hard Landscaping features including benches, picnic tables and play features Tree Planting works including woodland thinning, core and edge planting, parkland trees, blossom trees and creation of fruiting hedges Boardwalk construction - including screwpile foundations where designed, supporting structure and deck construction Platform construction (swamp) Grass path and river access point creation, including earthworks, grading and seeding.
