Within Southwark, there are currently 4 nursery schools, 74 primary schools (including 3 special schools) and 25 secondary schools (including 5 special schools): *The value of the school meals market in Southwark is estimated at around PS8.3m (primary) and PS5.3m (secondary) annually *Currently, most school outsourced contracts are for a single school, rather than a group, each with different contract terms *Most contracts are currently two to three years in duration, not all schools will require a contract at the same time The maximum framework term will be 4 years, this includes the initial contract term and the option to extend. Estimated potential sales value of the framework is PS4m over the 4 years. Southwark Council will be conducting this process via Jaggaer.
