## Summary

Norwich City Council has initiated an open procedure tender for the appointment of a multi-disciplinary consultancy to assist in the Development Stage Application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The consultancy will aid in rejuvenating 22 historic parks and green spaces throughout Norwich. The procurement stage is currently active and businesses must submit their tenders electronically by 15 January 2025. The extensive project, valued at approximately £10 million, aims to enhance ecological, community, cultural, and climate-related aspects of these spaces, with a specific budget allocation for consultancy of up to £240,000. The formal application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund must be submitted by August 2025, with the contract period lasting 180 days post-award, which is expected to commence on 16 January 2025.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses with relevant experience in parks maintenance services and consultancy to engage in a high-profile rejuvenation project. The project’s focus on transforming Norwich's historic parks and green spaces provides ample scope for growth in the environmental, architectural, and heritage sectors. Companies specialising in landscape architecture, architecture, and cost consultancy are well-suited to compete for this tender, offering them a chance to showcase their expertise on a large scale. Successful bidders will play a crucial role in a transformative project that aligns with ecological and cultural enrichment, potentially elevating their market standing and opening further opportunities in public sector consultancy and heritage projects.
