## Summary

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service has awarded a contract for the maintenance and support of the ProCAD mobilising system. This contract, categorised under IT services, aims to ensure the system continues to facilitate resource mobilisation to emergency incidents effectively. The contract was awarded through a limited procurement method to Motorola Solutions Ltd, due to their exclusive intellectual property rights over the ProCAD system. The contract, valued at £8.9 million, was signed on 6 December 2024 and includes options to extend the agreement by three additional 12-month periods. The primary location for the service delivery is in Northern Ireland (UKN).

This tender presents a pivotal opportunity for businesses involved in IT support and maintenance, particularly those with expertise in bespoke software systems and emergency response infrastructures.
