## Summary

The procurement process initiated by Cambridgeshire County Council for the "24085 Civil Parking and Bus Lane enforcement Contract" falls under the civic-amenity services industry category. The procurement was conducted using an open procedure with an estimated contract value between £10 million and £12 million. The contract covers the administrative area of Cambridge City Council, South Cambridgeshire, and specific Park and Ride sites, geared towards Civil Enforcement, including the use of ANPR devices for bus lane enforcement. The procurement stage has progressed from the tender phase to the award and contract phases, with OCSGroup UK Ltd selected as the supplier. This tender, with a potential 10-year term when including extension options, commenced with a contract signing on 20th March 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for companies specialising in civic and parking services, as well as those experienced in managing traffic regulation enforcement. Given its substantial value and potential for expansion to other districts within Cambridgeshire, interested businesses should consider the opportunity to supply trained staff and supporting infrastructure for enforcement tasks. Businesses with capabilities in deploying and managing unattended ANPR devices and those offering scalable services to potentially include additional regions are well-suited to compete in this landscape. Additionally, the focus on quality and price, with a weightage of 60% and 40% respectively in the award criteria, allows for competitive offerings balancing excellence with cost-effectiveness.
