## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales is inviting tenders for the provision of Independent Domestic Violence Advisory (IDVA) Services across the North Wales Force area. This contract encompasses three sub-regional services and is designed to address the safety of individuals at high risk of domestic abuse. The tender is in the award stage, with a significant total contract value of approximately £5.5 million, and key submission deadlines were outlined for early 2025. The service aims to improve safety, reduce the long-term impact on victims, and adopt a whole family approach in partnership with various organisations. The procurement method followed is an open procedure, with the closing of the tender period on 13 January 2025.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses in the field of counselling and support services. Companies specialising in domestic violence advisory services, particularly those capable of operating as a consortium, are well-suited to compete. A consortium approach is encouraged, with one provider acting as the lead contractor to ensure coordinated delivery, monitoring, and funding. The successful bidder will enhance their portfolio by providing essential services that contribute to public safety and community welfare, thereby reinforcing their position as a key player in the sector. The opportunity spans various regions, including Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, and Wrexham, offering extensive geographic reach within the North Wales Police Force areas.
