## Summary

Buckinghamshire Council has established an approved provider list for the provision of Skills Bootcamps, part of the Government's Lifetime Skills Guarantee. This procurement process, classified under education and training services, aims to appoint organisations over a three-year period starting April 2025, by conducting call-off contracts annually via direct awards or mini-competitions. Situated in Buckinghamshire (region UKJ13), the initiative's anticipated £10.5 million funding for 2025-26 is contingent upon available budget and resource constraints. The procurement status is currently active, with the deadline for application submissions set for midday, 10 January 2025. Interested parties must apply through the Buckinghamshire Business Portal, adhering to the open procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 Light Touch Regime.

This tender provides significant business opportunities, especially for organisations skilled in providing education and training services across diverse sectors such as Digital, Construction, Green Skills, Engineering, Creative, Business and Administration, Hospitality and Tourism, and Education and Early Years. By participating, businesses can enhance their operations and reach by directly influencing skills enhancement and sector-specific training in Buckinghamshire. This initiative is particularly well-suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), given the high number of SME bids in the award phase, thus helping them to leverage growth through handling contracts worth an estimated total of £10.5 million distributed over the programme's duration.
