## Summary

NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has announced the award of a contract for Children and Young People Neurodevelopmental Support Services, specifically focusing on autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This service will be provided from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 with an estimated contract value of £2,449,147. The procurement falls under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, thereby not adhering to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Located in Nottingham (region UKF16), this direct award process was finalised on 16 January 2025, following the contract award notice published on 11 December 2024, marking the standstill period where representations were invited until 20 December 2024.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, especially those experienced in providing pre and post diagnostic support for neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people. Companies with a robust track record in delivering similar services are well-suited to benefit from such contracts, promoting growth and expertise in the healthcare sector. As this contract utilises a direct award process due to exceptional circumstances, it highlights the potential for companies to secure future contracts without the extensive competition usually associated with public procurement, thus incentivising high performance and quality service delivery to maintain future contract opportunities with the NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB.
