## Summary

Swindon Borough Council has completed its procurement process for a framework to provide ad-hoc repair works across its 10,500 tenanted properties. This procurement was conducted under an open procedure, with the framework set to last up to 48 months, comprising eleven lots such as Electrical, Gas, and General Repairs, among others. The tender was part of the construction work category under the CPV classification, focusing on the South West region of England, specifically Swindon (UKK14). The tendering process, initially active since December 2024, was concluded with contracts signed by 6th August 2025, involving an overall estimated value of £28.5 million, and securing up to 5 suppliers per lot.

This procurement framework creates substantial opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger companies to engage with significant public service projects. Ideal candidates include businesses specialising in construction, environmental improvements, electrical and gas installations, plumbing, and building maintenance services. By participating in these frameworks, businesses can enhance their market presence, secure substantial contracts, and establish long-term partnerships with the Swindon Borough Council, contributing to business growth and stability. The inclusivity of various lots ensures that a diverse range of service providers can compete and benefit from the opportunities provided by this extensive procurement agreement.
