## Summary

The Warrender Group of Primary Schools Catering, based in Middlesex, is overseeing a procurement process focused on school catering services across five primary schools in Hillingdon. The procurement, managed under the Light Touch Regime, follows a selective two-stage tender process comprising a Selection Questionnaire (SQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT). This contract, classified under the CPV code 55524000, is structured in two Lots and aims to optimise catering services starting from 1st August 2025 for Lot One, and 1st September 2025 for Lot Two. The contract term is set at three years with potential extensions of up to two additional years. The procurement stage is currently active with a tender deadline on 21st January 2025, encompassing a budget of £1.34 million. The procurement method adopted is a restricted procedure.

This tender offers considerable opportunities for growth, especially for businesses adept at managing catering services with a focus on quality and efficiency. Companies that can demonstrate robust service delivery, ensure compliance with TUPE regulations, and propose innovative food concepts are well-suited to compete. The successful service provider will have access to pooled resources, enhancing service optimisation and potential revenue. Catering businesses offering strong partnership ethos, and capable of meeting the annual turnover targets of approximately £445,000 across both Lots, will find this tender aligns well with strategic growth. The involvement of multiple suppliers, including large scale and SME entities such as Cleverchefs and HCL, underscores the competitive and dynamic environment awaiting potential bidders.
