The contract, awarded on 13 March 2025, has an annual value of £395,817 and a lifetime value of £1,979,085. The service will be provided in the London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington, ranging from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028, with an initial term of three years and an option to extend by two additional years. This tender provides significant potential for business growth, particularly for companies specialising in healthcare services for the elderly. Businesses that deliver high-quality care, demonstrate innovation, offer value for money, and have experience in collaborative working within local healthcare systems will be well-suited to compete. Additionally, organisations able to ensure compliance with social value criteria, such as adherence to the London Living Wage, will have an advantage. Key criteria include quality and innovation, integration and collaboration, and reducing health inequalities, which are critical for meeting the tender requirements.
