This initiative, falling under the industry category of "Energy and related services" (CPV code: 71314000), aims to provide net zero energy-related resilience and service improvements to the public sector across the UK. Provisional dates for pre-engagement presentations via Teams are scheduled for 8 January, 15 January, and 28 January 2025. The pre-engagement phase will gather feedback to refine the procurement framework prior to official tendering.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specializing in energy efficiency, green technology, and infrastructure improvements to expand their portfolios within the public sector. Companies with capabilities in geothermal energy, green district heating, hydrogen or biogas delivery, and low carbon energy infrastructure services will find this framework particularly relevant. By participating in this preliminary market consultation, businesses can position themselves to influence the final procurement requirements and increase their chances of securing future contracts that promote sustainable energy solutions and net zero targets for public buildings across the UK.
