## Notice

The Environment Agency on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and 
Devolved Administrations (DA) will be inviting proposals to provide the Central Management and Control Unit (CMCU) 
and the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for the UK Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) 
Monitoring Network from 7th February 2025.

The purpose of the PAHs Network is to determine the ambient concentrations of PAHs in the UK atmosphere 
through monitoring and chemical analysis to ensure the UK complies with the PAHs related provisions of the 
UK's Air Quality Standard Regulations 2010, which incorporate EU's 4th Air Quality Daughter Directive and the 
Air Quality Strategy PAHs Objective.
