## Summary

The Department for Education (DfE) is conducting a market engagement for the provision of Continued Professional Development (CPD) services for 16-19 English and Maths GCSE courses (Level 2 and below). This process is classified under the industry category of Education and Training Services (CPV code 80000000). The planned engagement includes an early supplier engagement webinar scheduled for 14:00 on 23rd January 2025, intended to run for approximately 45 minutes. Interested organisations should express their interest by 14:00 on 20th January 2025 via SSQ_541 in Project_8440. The procurement stage is currently in the planning phase, with further notices expected by 25th February 2025. This initiative is aimed at addressing the capability and interest of suppliers to support the FE sector, both nationally and regionally across various regions in the UK.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in educational services to contribute to the development of the English and Maths workforce within the Further Education sector. Potential suppliers will have the chance to shape the delivery of CPD, ensuring workforce proficiency and supporting organisational leadership in English and Maths education. This is particularly suitable for organisations with experience in large-scale educational programmes and those capable of delivering high-quality training across multiple regions. By participating in this engagement, businesses can position themselves as key players in a sector prioritising the enhancement of educational standards and workforce development.
