The planned engagement includes an early supplier engagement webinar scheduled for 14:00 on 23rd January 2025, intended to run for approximately 45 minutes. These providers are delivering the study programmes with large numbers of students that are required to continue studying English and/or maths under the condition of funding. (from hereon in FE providers), on a national or regional basis. This is not a call for competition and does not commit us to launching a competition or running a competition in specific ways, and any future opportunities are subject to funding availability. The quality of the English and Maths workforce across the FE sector is paramount, and the Department continues to work with the sector to ensure that providers can recruit, retain, and develop the teaching and governance staff they need to deliver the best possible education to students.
