Outpatient pharmacies services to provide medicines and related services to patients who are not admitted to hospitals but visit outpatient clinics. Service aim to streamline the medication process for patients, reduce waiting times, and improve overall efficiency. Key objective to deliver on site pharmacies on the sites of Blackpool Teaching Hospital, East Lancashire Hospital Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust primarily to serve patients who attend hospital outpatient clinics and require prescriptions or other pharmacy services.

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The intention is to award a contract using the most suitable provider process. The award decision makers are University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
