## Summary

The procurement process for the "Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Services" was conducted by The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire. The contract focuses on providing specialist services for victims of sexual offences in Gloucestershire, categorised under "Other community, social and personal services". An open procedure was employed, with the tender initially published in January 2025, and the award concluded on 31 July 2025. The contract is valued at £3,961,573 and is set to commence on 1 August 2025, with a potential extension period of up to two years. Although the procurement process has been completed, it represents a significant investment into the Gloucestershire area, enhancing community support services.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses operating in the community and social services sector, particularly those specialising in care for victims of sexual offences. The awarded contract to "First Light" highlights the demand for experienced, SME-sized organisations capable of delivering trauma-informed, victim-centred services. Given the nature of the services and collaboration with organisations like Barnardo's, businesses adept in partnership work may find this sector appealing. Companies focusing on improving health and wellbeing outcomes for vulnerable communities could experience strategic growth by bidding for similar opportunities in future procurement cycles.
