## Summary

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has established a National Framework Agreement for Radiology Capacity Management Solutions under the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023. This initiative, aimed at enhancing radiology department efficiency and reducing outsourcing costs, covers the United Kingdom and is relevant to all specified authorities under the NHS Act 2006, including NHS trusts, foundation trusts, and local authorities. This multi-lot tender includes two main lots: Radiology Capacity Management Solutions and rent-to-own equipment solutions, structured for a four-year term. The framework was officially concluded on 27th August 2025, with a lifetime value of £25,000,000, excluding VAT.

The framework provides extensive business growth opportunities for service providers specialised in medical imaging and radiology services. Companies providing innovative solutions for capacity management and those offering comprehensive professional advice and clinical staffing are well-suited to benefit. The framework's scope, which includes professional advice on maximising patient throughput and financial solutions for acquiring equipment, is particularly advantageous for small and medium-sized enterprises seeking partnerships with NHS entities and other authorities to scale their operations. Suppliers like AM Diagnostic Imaging Ltd and Medispace Diagnostics Ltd are already participating in this competitive framework, showcasing a significant opportunity landscape for prospective companies.
