## Summary

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG), a large housing association in the UK, has launched a tender for the NHG Empty Homes (Voids) Refurbishment Works Framework. This procurement involves comprehensive refurbishment work across all building trades for empty homes in Greater London and some areas outside London. The process is in the tender stage, with key dates including the tender period ending on 31 March 2025, and the invitation date for the second stage on 2 June 2025. The estimated value of the framework is £500 million, with contracts expected to last approximately four years, and potential changes based on NHG’s requirements. The procurement follows a restricted procedure intending to select a suitable number of contractors to manage this extensive project.

This framework presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in refurbishment, building construction, and maintenance services. It allows companies to gain long-term contracts within Greater London and possibly beyond, fostering business growth through sustained and large-scale work. SMEs and contractors with a strong track record in managing and refurbishing residential properties, particularly those skilled in asbestos management, energy improvements, and safety inspections, are well-suited to compete. The framework's extensive scope also provides chances for partnerships and collaborations, enhancing a business’s portfolio and expertise in the housing sector.
