Salford City Council intends to award this contract an existing provider following direct award process B under the Provider Selection Regime. Due to the nature of the service provided, they can only practically be provided by the existing provider of the maternity service, and the Council is satisfied that the relevant health care services to which the proposed contracting arrangements relate are capable of being provided only by the existing provider due to the nature of the relevant health care service The contract will provide the Midwifery LARC service commences on 1 April 2024 and end on 31 March 2025, with a lifetime value of PS9999.
