## Summary

Kent County Council is organising a market engagement event for a proposed Therapeutic Support Service for children and young people aged 4-19 with mild to moderate emotional wellbeing needs. These needs include issues such as anxiety, difficulty concentrating, sleeping difficulties, and social avoidance. The event, which is part of the planning stage of the procurement process under the Procurement Act 2023, will be held online on Wednesday 12th February 2025, from 15:00 to 16:00. Interested providers should contact Mhairi Tynan by Monday 10th February at 17:00 to register. The service aligns with the NHS Kent and Medway’s Therapeutic Alliance and aims at complementing the recent public consultation.

This tender offers significant opportunities for providers specialising in children's mental health and counselling services. Businesses that can deliver therapeutic support to young people, helping them manage anxiety, improve concentration, and overcome social and emotional challenges, are well-suited to participate. Engaging in this process allows enterprises to contribute to meaningful societal support while potentially expanding their service reach and client base. The service’s alignment with the therapeutic alliance initiated by NHS Kent and Medway further enriches the collaborative and comprehensive care approach.
