The Authority intends to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award
Process C under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). 

Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) is a specialist form of Cardiac Surgery. Alder Hey Children's NHS FT currently provide specialist ACHD surgeons to Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital NHS FT when required to operate on patients with ACHD. 

Contract Start Date: 01/04/2025
Contract End Date: 31/03/2026. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice under Direct Award
Process C. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider
Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the
Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice
marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made by midnight on 14/02/2025 via email to: Richard.Jolley@nhs.net
