## Summary

LHC Procurement Group Limited, on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA), has initiated a procurement process for their Roofing Systems & Associated Works Framework (RS5C). This framework, valued at £80 million, is designed to succeed the current roofing agreement, intended to support local authorities, social landlords, and other public sector bodies across England, Wales, and Scotland. The focus is on roof repair and maintenance, encompassing various applications such as schools, NHS buildings, and residential buildings. The procurement is currently in the active stage, following the open procedure method, with the framework scheduled to recur in September 2028, ensuring compliance with relevant industry and safety standards.

This tender provides significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in the roofing industry, particularly those with expertise in traditional flat, liquid flat, profiled metal, and pitched roofing systems. Companies that can align their services with British Standards, industry best practices, and possess accreditation from roofing manufacturers will be well-suited to participate. The framework also promotes community benefits such as employment, subcontracting opportunities for SMEs, and supply-chain development, making it an attractive proposition for businesses aiming to expand their public sector portfolio while contributing to social value.
