## Summary

Peterborough City Council is planning a procurement process for the "PCC - Domestic Abuse Mobile Advocacy (Outreach) Service (Provider Event)" to support the Peterborough Safe Accommodation Strategy as mandated by the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Classified under the health and social work services category (CPV: 85000000), the tender focuses on providing community-based support for individuals subjected to domestic abuse through mobile advocacy. A one-hour bidder session will be held on 28th February 2025 at 9am to guide potential bidders on the submission process and service overview. Interested parties should contact Helen Davies for an invitation. The procurement process aligns with the legal framework set by the Procurement Act 2023, with the future notice date set for 3rd July 2025. The service will manage a flexible funding pool of £10,000 to enhance client safety, with an overall contract value of £770,000, inclusive of two possible 12-month extensions.

Businesses experienced in providing support services to individuals subjected to domestic abuse, particularly those in the private, voluntary, community, or statutory sectors, have a significant opportunity for growth through this tender. The Mobile Advocacy Service aims to empower clients by focusing on their self-identified needs, promoting recovery, and enhancing safety through a client-led and trauma-informed approach. Collaboration with local organisations providing support to domestic abuse victims is a key component, making this tender especially well-suited for entities with a strong track record in partnership and community work. With the rising emphasis on statutory compliance and trauma-informed care, businesses that can deliver specialist, flexible, and responsive support stand to gain from participating in this vital service provision.
