## Summary

Tyne and Wear PTE T/A Nexus is planning the "NEX24/83 Small Works Framework Agreement", focused on construction work within the Urban railway, tramway, trolleybus, or bus services industry category. This procurement process is currently in the Planning stage with the Contract Notice anticipated to be issued in March 2025. The framework agreement will cover civil engineering and building work, bridge and structure maintenance, Metro infrastructure lineside works, highway works, and design activities in Tyne and Wear. The tender process will commence upon the release of the Contract Notice, and the tender documentation will be available via the specified Open eProcurement portal. Interested suppliers can confirm their interest via email by March 14, 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction, civil engineering, and associated maintenance services. The framework will involve a variety of projects, potentially including major construction and demolition, repair of structures, mechanical and electrical work, as well as ongoing maintenance needs.
