## Summary

The NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (ICB) is overseeing the procurement process for the Leicester City Healthcare Hub Services. This project falls under the health and social work services category and is situated in Leicester, United Kingdom. The procurement method was limited, without prior publication, aligned with the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Regulations 2023, bypassing the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The contract has been formally awarded as of 19th November 2024, marking its transition from planning to award stage. The contract term is from 1st April 2025 to 30th September 2025, with an option to extend until 31st March 2026. The projected lifetime value of the contract is approximately £2,006,096, entailing a direct award to Millennium Health Ltd, trading as Millennium Federation.

This tender provides substantial growth opportunities for service providers specialising in health and social work, particularly those experienced in delivering extended general practice services. Businesses with the capacity for integration and collaboration with entities like GP practices, NHS 111, and emergency departments stand to benefit, given the tender’s emphasis on maintaining service quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Economic opportunities also extend to companies offering innovative solutions that enhance healthcare accessibility, reduce health inequalities, and provide added social value, including local employment and community integration. Such firms would find this contract aligns well with their strategic objectives and service delivery capacities.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

To provide the registered population with convenient and equitable extended access to Primary Care by offering 1,208 appointments per week, 365 days per year, including Bank Holidays: - Access to pre-bookable and same-day appointments during the week - Provide robust evidence, based on utilisation rates, for the proposed disposition of services throughout the week - Maximise the potential for appointments booked via NHS 111, General Practice, Emergency Department or other stakeholders to ensure good patient flow and patient experience - Maximise digital access to appointments via a range of SMS text, online appointment booking and telephone consultations. The ICB is currently reviewing its same-day access provision across LLR, with the intention to bring forward a new model of local primary care same-day access within the next 12 months; and will be looking at opportunities to engage with relevant providers in due course.
