## Summary

The PEACEPLUS Arts, Culture and Heritage Programme, managed by Mid Ulster District Council and funded by the European Union, seeks to enhance community engagement through social work and related services. This contract focuses on delivering a Culture, Arts, and Heritage programme, targeted at primary age children across the Mid Ulster district, specifically for primary 6/7 age groups, and is designed to engage approximately 750 children over three years. The procurement, valued at £260,000 GBP, was conducted through an open procedure. The procurement stage has advanced to the award phase, with the contract successfully signed on 13th June 2025 with the supplier Wheelworks. The programme is primarily focused in Northern Ireland, with the tender process completed on 24th March 2025, and electronic submissions were utilised.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in cultural and educational services, especially those with capabilities in developing community-centric programmes. Organisations focusing on innovation, creative technology, and community service provision would be well-suited to the specified requirements. Given the emphasis on cross-community engagement and skill development, companies with experience in delivering educational programmes that foster social integration and creativity would find this project aligned with their expertise. Moreover, the open procurement method suggests a competitive space, yet it remains accessible, with a total of three bids submitted, highlighting the potential opportunities for similar businesses to engage and compete in such government-funded initiatives.
