## Summary

The Transportation Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), orchestrated by HealthTrust Europe LLP (HTE), encompasses a broad-ranging procurement process aimed at providing transport services across the UK. This initiative, targeting pathology and pharmacy transport, non-clinical courier services, and bus and community transport services, was set in motion on 20th February 2025. The procurement process followed an open procedure, culminating in active contracts by 10th June 2025, involving a total contract value of £200 million. HTE, with its central purchasing body status, managed the DPS, addressing an industry classified under transport services (excluding waste transport) with CPV code 60000000. The DPS spanned three distinct lots, each designed to meet specific service requirements across the UK, with key participation from NHS Trusts and other healthcare facilities. The process involved electronic submissions, with a notable emphasis on dynamic purchasing and potential e-auctions for call-offs.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses within the transport and logistics sectors, particularly those specialising in courier and transport services. SMEs like Deadline Despatch Limited, CitySprint (UK) Ltd, and DHL Supply Chain Limited were among the suppliers, highlighting potential entry points for small to large-scale organisations capable of meeting specialised transport needs such as medical couriers, pharmaceutical logistics, and community service vehicle operations. Businesses that can offer agile, compliant, and cost-effective transport solutions, especially those capable of managing cross-border logistics, stand to benefit greatly from involvement in this DPS. The substantial contractual values and the explicit need for dynamic and adaptable service provisions make this a highly lucrative opportunity for companies aiming to expand their portfolio within the public sector transport services domain.
