SMEs, such as New Medical Systems Limited, are well-suited to compete for such contracts due to the niche technical requirements and specialised expertise needed. Participating in such tenders can help businesses build their reputation, gain experience in handling government contracts, and potentially establish a long-term relationship with NHS procurement bodies. By addressing healthcare service backlogs and supporting elective recovery plans, businesses can directly contribute to improving patient care and service efficiency, thereby enhancing their market presence and growth prospects.
