## Summary

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has concluded a National Framework Agreement for Teleradiology, Telepathology, and Telemedicine Services, focusing on health services under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This procurement falls under the services category and is designed to address the rising demand for radiology services across the UK. The framework is structured into two lots: Lot 1 for Teleradiology and Telemedicine Services, and Lot 2 for Telepathology Services. Significant dates include the award date of 23 May 2025, and the framework's expected duration is four years. The procurement method used was an open procedure ensuring a competitive process for eligible suppliers.

This framework presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in the health services sector, specifically those providing teleradiology and telemedicine capabilities. Companies with expertise in telepathology or broader telemedicine specialties could benefit from expanding their service portfolios within the NHS framework. Given the lifetime value of the agreement set at £50 million, the framework opens avenues for scalable growth, especially for SMEs prepared to offer innovative solutions in health service delivery. The open procedure and annual reopening of the framework for new applicants ensure continuous opportunities for businesses meeting the outlined award criteria, such as social value, quality and innovation, and cost efficiency.
