## Summary

Translink, a prominent public transportation organisation in Northern Ireland, has undertaken a contracting process to establish a framework for general property maintenance works, under the title "FW119 - General Property Maintenance North." This initiative, classified under "Repair and maintenance services of building installations," encompasses a wide array of property types including railway and bus stations, workshops, garages, and pedestrian infrastructure. The procurement method employed is a selective, restricted procedure designed to ensure quality and financial efficiency. As of February 2026, the contract has been awarded and is active, while the tender stage was completed in March 2025. Businesses were required to submit electronic bids via the eTendersNI portal, with the tender deadline on 26 March 2025.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in property maintenance services across the UK region, particularly those experienced in handling varied infrastructure types such as stations, yards, and retail units. The value of the contract, amounting to £15,000,000, provides a lucrative prospect for business growth. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have already shown interest, signifying competitive chances for businesses of similar stature with expertise in maintenance works. Furthermore, with the provision to extend the contract for up to 48 additional months, participating companies can benefit from sustained engagement and potential revenue continuity. This project is ideal for firms ready to leverage their skills in substantial property maintenance and infrastructure support within the Northern Ireland area.
