## Summary

Slough Borough Council is in the Tender stage of procuring a contractor for the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Network. This project falls under the industry category of supporting and auxiliary transport services and encompasses the UK region. The council seeks to establish a long-term 15+1 concessionary-based contract with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to design, install, manage, and maintain EV charging infrastructure in Slough. This tender is divided into two lots: Lot 1, which requires a minimum of 1600 Standard AC charge points with power less than 8kW, and Lot 2, focusing on Fast AC and Rapid/Ultra-Rapid DC charge points with power greater than 8kW. The deadline for submitting proposals is 2nd May 2025 at 13:00 (1 pm).

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in electric vehicle infrastructure, construction, and transportation equipment. Firms with experience in installing and managing EV charging networks, particularly those adept at handling both standard and fast/rapid charge points, will likely find this opportunity beneficial for business growth. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) specialising in sustainable transportation solutions, as well as established companies looking to expand into the EV infrastructure market, would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Serving as a Charge Point Operator for Slough would not only enhance the winning firm's portfolio but also contribute to the town's green initiatives and public service improvements.
