## Summary

The public procurement process titled "Software License Reseller & Consultancy Services Agreement (SLRA)" was orchestrated by the Southern Universities Procurement Consortium (SUPC), situated in Reading, UK. This process, operating under the industry category of software package and information systems, primarily aimed to procure goods and services related to software licences for major vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, and VMware. Commencing with a tender process on 20th February 2025, this procurement has reached the award stage as of 26th May 2026. The opportunity unfolded under a restricted procedure with selective procurement and comprised multiple lots, including offers for comprehensive software solutions and associated support. The framework agreement was structured for a period of 24 months, with possibilities for two 12-month extensions.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses aiming to expand their footprint in the software supply and consultancy domain, particularly within the higher education and public sectors. Companies already engaged in IT services or those able to provide robust support and consultancy for software products could find this agreement especially beneficial. Given the scale and scope of the services covered, both large entities and SMEs in the software industry, particularly those experienced in the UK market, could leverage this opportunity for business growth and heightened visibility. Businesses adept at navigating frameworks and delivering competitive, high-quality software solutions will likely excel in such a tender environment.

Eligible organisations may include but not limited to schools and academies, local government bodies, charities, research and science organisations, cultural institutions, health and care bodies, and other publicly funded or not-for-profit entities.
