## Summary

The Ministry of Defence is inviting suppliers to tender for the provision of vehicle-fleet-support services with the title "Army Website". The procurement falls under the services category, specifically targeting vehicle repair and maintenance services, including roadside repair and recovery across the UK, Europe, and North Africa. This active tender is in the tender stage with submissions due by 18th April 2025. The procurement method is an open procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Key contractual periods include a duration of 1800 days with the potential for two optional renewal years.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in vehicle repair and maintenance services, especially those skilled in emergency roadside assistance. Companies with a robust service network spanning the UK, Europe, and North Africa, and the capability to offer 24/7 support, will be well-suited to compete. The tender process involves both electronic and written submissions, and interested parties should note that the bid opening will commence on 21st February 2025. This contract could lead to substantial business growth for the successful supplier due to the scale and scope of services required.

## Notice

"The Authority requires a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year, roadside repair and recovery service available in the United Kingdom, Europe, and North Africa for MOD owned and registered vehicles." It was decided in 1998 that a contracted service was required to provide roadside repair and recovery for MOD owned and registered vehicles due to existing military recovery facilities being unable to deliver the required level of support across the national networks in Germany and the UK within 2-4 hours of the recovery request. There was also no capacity or capability to deliver the service across the rest of Europe and North Africa, which remains the case due to the geographic disposition of military Units holding recovery assets.
