## Summary

Transport for London (TfL) has announced a Prior Information Notice for a framework focused on Plant Maintenance and Repairs. This project is in the planning stage and aims to assess market capabilities and interest before formal procurement. The framework comprises three lots: Transformers and Rectifiers repair and maintenance, Substation HV, LV & DC switchgear repair, refurbishment and replacement, and HV Power Third Party Services. The tender falls under the "Repair and maintenance services" industry category and is classified within CPV Scheme 50000000. The services are to be delivered in London, with the future notice date set for 1st December 2025.

This tender process presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in electrical maintenance and repair services, particularly those with expertise in high voltage (HV) power systems. Companies capable of providing both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as refurbishment services, will find multiple opportunities within the three lots of this framework. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with experience in transformer and substation equipment will be well-suited to bid for these contracts, potentially leading to long-term partnerships with TfL. The engagement can also foster growth by involving businesses in both maintenance activities and project support tasks for ageing infrastructure in London.
