## Summary

The procurement process initiated by Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust involves the servicing and maintenance of medical gas pipeline systems, with a focus on securing a contract that meets Health Technical Memorandum standards. This process is currently within the planning stage and aims to engage the market through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise. Parties interested in this opportunity should review the market engagement notice available on the Find a Tender Service platform. The hospital is located at City Campus, Hucknall Road, Nottingham, with services required across multiple regions including UKF14 to UKF22. Key dates include a scheduled milestone for market engagement by 12th September 2025. The procurement is valued at £1,000,000 with a potential gross amount of £1,200,000, reflecting its significance in the services industry.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in mechanical and electrical engineering services, as well as those offering repair and maintenance services of mechanical building installations. SMEs may find this particularly beneficial due to its suitability considerations. The planned contract period spans from June 2026 to May 2028, with the potential for renewal, offering a sustained opportunity for business growth. Businesses capable of delivering high-quality services that comply with relevant health and safety legislation, especially those experienced in hospital or medical infrastructure, will likely find this contract appealing. Engaging in the initial PME stage will help inform the Trust and potentially shape the tender requirements, giving businesses the advantage of influencing their success in the procurement process.

## Notice
