### Planning Information

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is intending on conducting a tender to contract for the provision of a complete personal and environmental dosimetry service to monitor employee’s exposure to radiation. This will include the supply of dosimeters, their analysis, reporting and storage of dosimetry results on a database hosted by the provider. The database will be accessed by multiple users within Radiation Physics at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) and their external customers. Radiation Physics are required to monitor whole body doses for all staff either monthly or quarterly, depending upon their radiation work. In addition, Radiation Physics also monitor collar, finger, lower limb and eye doses for some staff. Different staff groups within a specific department may have differing monitoring regimes. Radiation Physics also periodically environmentally monitor areas on a quarterly assessment period in line with our environmental monitoring schedule covering all areas that use ionising radiation. NUH would like to invite interested Approved Dosimetry Service (ADS) providers to attend a Market Engagement Event, where they will be given the opportunity to discuss NUH’s requirement, feedback will be used to refine the specification for the tender. The market engagement meetings are planned for the 1st April 2025. Interested parties must expression their interest via the Atamis e-tendering portal using the message centre, (https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome) to be allocated a time slot for the market engagement event and to receive the following documents: 1. Specification 2. Commercial Model 3. Indicative tender timetable. We ask that providers prepare any feedback on the specification, KPIs and commercial model to present in the session. In addition, please prepare an indicative implementation timetable to demonstrate the minimum time frame required to go live on the 1st of January 2026, this should detail key milestones including: a. Uploading of records b. Lead time for initial badges To facilitate the meeting, any questions relating to the Specification, Commercial Model and/or Indicative must be submitted through the Atamis e-tendering portal by 10 am on the 20th March 2025. This will enable the departmental stakeholders to review and prepare for the meeting
