## Summary

Lancashire County Council is preparing a procurement process for the "LEVI Fund EV Charging Infrastructure" project, aiming to enhance the availability of on-street low-powered charge points in residential areas. This initiative, vital for the commercialisation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the Lancashire-12 districts, is currently in the planning stage, with the contract period set from 1st March 2026 to 28th February 2041. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically focusing on the installation of electrical equipment, and is expected to create a compliant contract for a large-scale deployment of low-speed residential charging infrastructure. A webinar for market engagement is scheduled for 13th March 2025, followed by one-to-one meetings on 25th and 26th March 2025, with a final submission deadline for questionnaire responses set for 31st March 2025.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in electrical equipment installation and infrastructure deployment, particularly those capable of providing solutions for residential electric vehicle charging. Companies involved in electric vehicle infrastructure, urban planning, or related domains could significantly benefit from engaging with Lancashire County Council’s initiative, which is backed by substantial funding from the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure fund. The contract's extended period offers long-term business growth potential, making it an attractive proposition for enterprises keen on expanding their services in the growing electric vehicle market in the UK.

## Notice

Lancashire County Council has been pre-allocated PS10,111,000 (PS10.1m) from the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund to enhance the presence of on-street low-powered charge points in residential areas. This initiative aims to accelerate the commercialisation of EVCI throughout the Lancashire-12 districts. LCC anticipate that a tender process will be conducted to establish a compliant contract to deliver a large-scale deployment of charging aiming to install low-speed residential charging infrastructure predominantly to support residents who do not have access to home charging or off-street parking
